The Discovery on Jupiter
I found a good post on the Popular Science’s blog. To decide what I wanted to read a post about I just kept thinking of random topics in my head. I thought about insects and Praying Mantises. Then I thought about fish…but no. Then something popped into my head. How about a planet! It was between either Venus or Jupiter, but I ended up picking Jupiter. I typed in the words Blog + Jupiter and came up with a wide variety of blog posts. I flipped through all the websites, but none of them were on the planet. Then I came across this post about a new storm going on on Jupiter’s surface. I liked it and decided to use it. It was about he new storm that is forming, called Oval BA. It first started its formation in 2000 and it is about half the size of the Great Red Spot. I thought this post was very interesting and an amazing discovery.
“Now Oval BA is the same ruddy hue as the original megastorm.”
This is a very important piece of imformation. It is telling that it is changing from a white color to a red-orange. What scientists believe is that when the color is more of dark red color the more powerful the storm is.
Here is a copy of my comment:
I thought that this was a great post on Jupiter. I am doing this for a class project and I thought that I may want to learn a bit about Jupiter. This is a very amazing discovery. I remember when I was younger learning about Jupiter and its Great Red Spot and now it is making a new one. Great Post and I will definitely comment again!
